Doyin Okupe former presidential spokesman is dead

Dr. Doyin Okupe the former presidential spokesman to both Olusegun Obasanjo and Dr. Good luck Jonathan is dead. He died at the age of 72 after battling with Cancer.

His death was announced today Friday, 7th of March, 2025. 

Doyin was in the mind and soul of every Nigeria during the 2023 election, as the campaign director of Peter Gregory Obi. He is the one behind the candidacy of Peter Obi and the Obedient movement in the 2023 election, that saw labour party emancipating a new wave of hope and determination during the presidential election.

Although, the hope of the wave was squarely rigged by the incumbent and Doyin Okupe joined the incumbent that makes him less popular.

But it's death is unfortunate and may he Rest in Peace.
