Mallam Nuhu Ribadu the current National Security Adviser (NSA), has revealed that a good number of weapons in the hands of non-state actors like terrorists, Boko haram, and bandits, were originally belonging to the Federal Government.
Nuhu Ribadu in its statement on Thursday at the National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons, which is located at the Mohammadu cantonment in ABJ during the arms destruction exercise, mentioned that weapons ended up in the hands of criminals due to corrupt elements within the security agencies.
Nuhu condemned personnel of Nigerian security who facilitate the distribution of weapons to non-state actors in the country who go all out to destabilise the country.
He assured that the Government of Bola Tinubu will do all at its disposal to ensure the country is secured.
