Miami Beach to Revoke Diddy’s Key After Arrest

Miami Beach

Following Sean Diddy Combs recent arrest in New York on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Miami Beach officials are reportedly planning to revoke Diddy’s key to the city.

This isn’t the first time Diddy has faced such action. Earlier this year, New York City Mayor Eric Adams condemned him after footage surfaced of Diddy allegedly hitting Cassie in 2016. Adams, who had given Diddy the key in 2023, emphasized the city’s commitment to supporting survivors of domestic and gender-based violence.

Sources indicate that the decision is nearly finalized, though the exact timing is uncertain due to the impending Hurricane Milton, which may delay the process.

Diddy received the key in 2015 from former Mayor Philip Levine during the Revolt Music Conference. Other celebrities who have received this honor include Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to the current charges and remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has stated that Diddy will not accept a plea deal and plans to fight the charges in court.
