Authorities in Florida arrested Ryan Routh, the man accused of a second assassination attempt on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. The 58-year-old was taken into custody on September 15 while appearing calm and handcuffed in a police car.

Photos obtained by Fox News show Routh dressed in a t-shirt and dark pants, with his hands cuffed behind him. He allegedly brought an AK-47-style rifle to Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, where he waited for the former president.

Martin County Sheriff William Snyder described Routh as "relatively calm" during his arrest, noting he did not display much emotion or question the situation despite the presence of law enforcement.

Routh was apprehended on Interstate 95 after Secret Service agents noticed a gun muzzle hidden in the shrubbery near the golf course. An agent fired at him before he fled in an SUV.
