Ngozi Okobi and husband welcomes first Baby

Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi and her husband, Ahmed Okeoghene, are now proud parents following the birth of their first child in Canada. The Levante Las Planas star took to Instagram to share the joyful news, captioning her post:

"Congratulations to me. #godbepraised #iamamother #newmom #canadianbaby," along with heartwarming photos showcasing her baby bump.

Okobi, known for her accomplishments with Nigeria's national team, had kept her pregnancy journey mostly private, offering only glimpses of her life through workout videos and personal updates on social media.

The couple, who wed on December 9, 2017, in Delta State, have been together for nearly seven years, with Okobi continuing her impressive football career during that time.

She has represented Nigeria in multiple international tournaments, including the 2010 U-17 Women’s World Cup, two WAFCON tournaments, and the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cups.

Although she was absent from the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup squad, Okobi remains a key figure in Nigerian football.
