Governor Peter Mbah Orders 48-Hour Manhunt for OMMATA Chairman’s Killers

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to security agencies to apprehend the killers of Chief Stephen Aniagu, the Chairman of Ogbete Main Market Traders Association (OMMATA). 

Mbah emphasized that such crimes would not go unpunished under his administration.

You can recall on our earlier post that Stephen Aniagu the Enugu Ogbete Market Chairman was killed at Topland Awkunanaw on his way home.

Expressing his condolences to Aniagu's family and OMMATA, Mbah described the murder as a significant loss to the state. 

He assured the public that the government has the resources and determination to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Mbah urged the people of Enugu to continue their daily activities, reaffirming the government's commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property. 

He promised that those responsible for the crime would face justice promptly.
