Diddy Tries Again for Bail, Hires Top Lawyers

The hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is taking another shot at freedom, just two weeks after his arrest. This time, he's is adding two more famous lawyers to boost its team and help in is bail request from jail before the trail begins.

Court papers show Diddy's attorney has filed an appeal against the latest rejection on bail. It's his third official try to get out while he awaits for his trial.

TMZ reports shows that Diddy's added some big-shot lawyers to help him out. These new lawyers, Anthony Ricco and Alexandra Shapiro, are known for being really good at what they do. Anthony is great at fighting cases in court, while Alexandra is an expert at appealing decision.

Don't confuse Alexandra with the famous Robert Shapiro - they are different folks. Anthony is considered one of the best trial lawyers in the U.S., while Alexandra is recognized as a top appellate lawyer. Diddy seems to be assembling a strong "dream team" of legal experts to support his case.

The feds nabbed Diddy at a swanky New York hotel on September 16. the next day, he appeared in court, where he was charged with serious offenses, including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transporting people for prostitution. 

This arrest came six months after the feds turned his L.A. and Miami cribs upside down, sniffing around for sex trafficking evidence. Diddy, a father with seven children, has declared before the court that he is not guilty of the charges.

Even though Diddy's legal team at the time offered a huge sum of $50 million for bail and promised to keep the ladies away (except family), the judge turned it down. U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter said the government made its case that Diddy's too risky to let loose.
