Diddy's lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, believes the federal government is unfairly targeting successful Black men, including his client. In a new documentary on Tubi called "The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment," Agnifilo suggests that race plays a big role in the case against the music mogul.

According to Agnifilo, the government is going after Diddy simply because he's a successful Black man. He claims that when they couldn't find anything wrong with Diddy's taxes or business dealings, they started looking into his personal life instead.

Interestingly, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who once gave Diddy a key to the city, made similar comments recently. Adams, who is also facing federal charges, believes he's being targeted unfairly too.

Both Diddy and Mayor Adams are being investigated by the same office - the Southern District of New York. Agnifilo argues that this office has a history of not being supportive of successful Black men.

The documentary explores Diddy's indictment, his defense, and other issues that haven't been widely discussed yet.
