The Nigerian Labour Congress President Comrade Joe Ajaero is arrested by the department of State Security (DSS).
Report has it that he was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja where he was suppose to attend the Trade Union Congress (TUC) in the United Kingdom (UK).
An emergency meeting has been held by the TUC and NLC members and all the State chapters and the civil society groups have been placed on red alert.
After the meeting a 24 hour mandate has been issued for the immediate release of the President of the NLC. The communique of the meeting is below for your digestion.
