Victor Osimhen Linked to Chelsea Move

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who currently plays for Napoli, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation this summer. The 24-year-old has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

Despite Chelsea's recent spending spree, the club is still in the market for a new striker to bolster their attacking options. Osimhen who played for Napoli scored 76 goals in 133 appearances for the Italian club. His goal-scoring prowess has made him a target for several top clubs, and a move to the Premier League could make is stars shine brighter. 

Arsenal, on the other hand, is also keen to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes, despite scoring 91 goals in the Premier League last season.

Earlier this week, reports suggested that Arsenal had revived their interest in Osimhen and were willing to rival Chelsea for the Nigerian star. However, it appears that Chelsea may still be leading the race to sign the prolific striker.

Former Nigeria midfielder John Ogu, who is a close friend of Osimhen, has hinted that the striker could be joining Chelsea soon. Ogu posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), saying "Osimhen to Chelsea... Here we go!!!".

Ogu has regularly expressed his support for Osimhen on social media, recently stating, "Osimhen is trending and he's trending for good. Anywhere you end up star boy, I will be rooting for you. I love you.". Given his close friendship with Osimhen, Ogu may have inside knowledge about the striker's transfer situation
