A strange disease outbreak in the Gindiye community, Jenkwe Development Area, Nasarawa State, has resulted in the death of 22-year-old Lydia Ezekiel, a student at Ipere College of Education.
This follows the deaths of five children aged between five and 15, who experienced stomach aches, vomiting, and diarrhea earlier this week.
Lydia passed away on the morning of August 8 at Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital. Community leader Samuel Akala reported that multiple families are affected, with one farmer losing three children.
