The Nasarawa State Police have detained Mrs. Hauwa Sani from Doro village, Katsina State, for allegedly possessing 124 rounds of anti-aircraft ammunition.
Alongside her was a two-year-old child, and the arrest occurred in Rafin Sanyi village, Doma Local Government Area.
Authorities discovered the ammunition concealed in a palm oil gallon, intended for transport to Katsina.
Additional items seized included a mobile phone and N78,500 in cash. The State Commissioner of Police has ordered the transfer of the suspect and evidence to Abuja for further investigation, recalling a similar incident involving ammunition two months prior
