A fire engulfed a two-storey building in the Ebute-Metta area of Lagos State on Sunday.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) reported that the incident occurred at No. 14, Okobaba Street, around 11:50 a.m.
The fire reportedly started in a top-floor flat, affecting several units, but fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.
The quick response from LASEMA and other fire services helped to subdue the flames, and operations to dampen the area are ongoing.
LASEMA's Permanent Secretary, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed the details in a statement to the News Agency of Nigeria.
