Beyonce Launches SirDavis American Whisky brand with Moet Hennessy

Global superstar Beyonce Knowles-Carter has entered the spirits industry with the launch of SirDavis, a premium American whisky created in partnership with LVMH's Moet Hennessy.

The $89 bottle pays homage to Beyonce's great-grandfather Davis Hogue, a farmer and moonshiner during Prohibition, and is set to hit stores in September 2024

SirDavis is a one-of-a-kind blend that draws inspiration from Japanese and Scottish whisky styles, crafted to embody Beyonce's vision for a premium American spirit.

The product's development was led by acclaimed Master Distiller Dr. Bill Lumsden, known for his work on Glenmorangie and Ardbeg.

The whisky features a bespoke mash bill composed of 51% rye and 49% malted barley, one of the rarest offerings in the world of American whisky.

It is finished in sherry casks to impart an elegant mouthfeel and texture reminiscent of Japanese whiskies while retaining the robust flavors typical of classic American rye.
