21 Arrested in Niger Delta Oil Theft Operation


The Nigerian Army's crackdown on oil theft in the Niger Delta has intensified, resulting in the arrest of 21 suspected oil thieves and the destruction of 43 illegal refineries. 

Troops from the 6 Division, in collaboration with other security agencies, dismantled operations across various locations, confiscating approximately 120,000 liters of stolen oil.

Notable actions included the arrest of 12 pipeline vandals in Ekeremor Local Government Area, where illegal equipment and vandalized pipes were seized. 

The military's efforts aim to combat economic sabotage and restore integrity to national oil infrastructure
