The Special Adviser Events Management, Governor's Office, Mr. Effiong Ekpenyong, has highlighted the Governor's plans to make this year's festival the best of the 18 years of Calabar festival package. The Queen of Humanity Cross River Pageant is one of the many events to look out for on the calendar, and it will take place on December 27th, 2023, at the Calabar International Conference Centre.
The pageant is open to all young Nigerian girls between the ages of 18 and 24 years, and the winner will receive a cash prize of 5 million naira, an SUV car, and represent Nigeria at the Queen of Humanity Global pageant, alongside other exciting packages and ambassadorial privileges.
The pageant will serve as a platform that will showcase beauty, brains, and poise like never before. The event will be televised live on DSTV to about 52 countries, making the pageant a beautiful bride to brands and advertisers.
Dr. Inyang Asibong, the Special Adviser Programs, Projects and Events office of the wife of Governor, stated that the Queen of Humanity Cross River Pageant is a project of the Office Of The First Lady of Cross River State, Rev. Mrs. Eyoawan Bassey Otu, whose passion for humanitarian services has driven her to set up projects that promote care, love, and respect for humanity.
