Black Panther and Avengers Stuntman Taraja Ramsess Dies in Car Crash with Three Children

Taraja Ramsess, a 41-year-old actor and stuntman known for his work in Black Panther and The Avengers, died in a car crash on Halloween night in DeKalb County, Georgia.

He was driving a car with his children when he crashed into a broken-down tractor-trailer on a highway exit. Three of his children, including a newborn daughter, were killed in the crash.

Taraja and his 10-year-old son were rushed to the hospital, but his son died of his injuries four days later. His 3-year-old daughter survived and is recovering from minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains unclear, and police are investigating. Taraja received 94 credits for his work in various departments in TV and films, including The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Black Panther, Avengers: End Game, and Avengers: Infinity War, among others. 

He was remembered by his family and friends as a loving father and a talented artist with a deep capacity for love. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses, collecting over $82,000 as of November 6, 2023.
