The new Minister of Humanitarian affair and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu has confirmed that the Government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu has discontinued indefinite the N-Power program. The N-Power program is one of the social investment program of the last administration of Buhari.
Its a program that pays N30,000 naira which is the minimum wage to selected citizens and are recruited to teach in various schools in the rural areas.
I believe its one of the most successful social investment program in the country till date.
Betta stated that the N-power was discontinued since numerous irregularities was noticed, hinting that most beneficiaries of the program are no reporting in there place of assignment and are still bank rolled.

She stated this after she said thorough investigation was carried out to discover this irregularities. Most of the beneficiaries that claim they are owed after contact with the school principal were they are deployed is discovered they never reported.
