Kanye West set to launch controversial YEWS trademark

YEWS

Kanye West is reportedly trying to acquire the trademark rights for the word “YEWS,” which he plans to use for various purposes, from streaming platforms to restaurants.

The request, which was filed earlier this month and was later revealed by TMZ, is linked to an LLC called Ox Paha Inc. The LLC has no known connection to Kanye, but it uses Kanye’s office address on Melrose Avenue.

It is not clear what Kanye’s vision for “YEWS” is, but he seems to be hiding his intentions.

The LLC papers suggest that “YEWS” could be used for a wide range of services, such as banking, real estate, clothing (including shoes, hats, and jeans), music and audio, entertainment content, beauty products, dining places, and much more.

Of course, even though Kanye has not publicly mentioned the word “YEWS,” people are quick to assume that it has something to do with “Jews” and the controversy around Kanye.

He faced harsh backlash for his admiration of Hitler on “Info Wars” and other anti-Semitic posts on social media, as we have reported. Since then, Kanye has mostly stayed away from the media, spending the last few months in Europe.
