Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has taken to his X handle to address his supporters following the dismissal of his petition against President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election.

The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) ruled on Wednesday, September 6, that Obi’s petition lacked merit and upheld Tinubu’s election as the president of Nigeria.

Obi, who is popularly known as ‘Obedient’ by his loyal fans, thanked them for their unwavering support and asked them not to lose hope in their quest for a “new and different” Nigeria.

He acknowledged that the journey would be tough and that they were facing “entrenched and formidable” forces, but he assured them that nothing was impossible with determination and perseverance.

He also hinted that he would continue to pursue his case through other legal means, saying that he was not ready to give up on his dream of leading Nigeria to greatness.
