Mohbad memorial concert and candlelight procession turns rowdy as police throws teargas on the peaceful gathering. A candlelight session held for Mohbad on Thursday 21st of September at Lekki was forcibly dispersed by the police as people were seen running helter-skelter.

The procession was in the evening at Lekki phase 1 while the memorial itself began at about 8pm in the night at the Muri Okunola Park in the Victoria Island. New gotten from the scene confirmed that at about 11pm, Police forcibly came in throwing teargas because they earlier asked the people to leave the premises earlier. People where seen crying and falling as they ran more reporting were gotten from the social media with onsite report of current happenings.

from the pictures it is obvious the environment is smoked with teargas and people running for safety. This is becoming too frequent in the country were the police trample on the rights of citizens to peaceful protest.
