Fury and Usyk Set to Clash in Saudi Arabia for the Heavyweight Crown

Fury

Fury and Usyk will fight for the undisputed heavyweight crown in Saudi Arabia later this year. The WBC champion and the Ukrainian star have agreed to face each other in a historic bout that will unify all four major belts for the first time.

The deal was announced by Fury’s UK promoters after months of negotiations that failed to materialize earlier this year. Usyk had to settle for a controversial knockout win over Daniel Dubois in Poland last month, while Fury has not fought since his trilogy win over Derek Chisora in December.

Fury will also take on former UFC champion Francis Ngannou on October 28, but his WBC title will not be at stake. He confirmed the agreement with Usyk by posting a photo with his promoter on social media.

Saudi Arabia has hosted several big boxing events recently, including Usyk’s rematch with Anthony Joshua and Joshua’s rematch with Andy Ruiz. Usyk holds the WBA, WBO, and IBF titles, while Fury has the WBC belt. The fight will determine the undisputed heavyweight king of the world.
