EEDC Total collapse of transmission has placed the South East in Darkness

EEDC head of corporate communication Emeka Eze has informed Customers that they are experiencing the total collapse of transmission of supply which is a fault from the National Transmission Station at Osogbo.

The failure at the National Control Centre Osogbo commenced today, Thursday 14 September. The duration of the blackout was not communicated but customers hope it won't tarry beyond 72 hours.

The locations affected by the failures of these stations are Enugu, Abia, Imo, Anambra, Abakiliki, and also Abuja.

We hope this darkness is tackled on time and power restored is to the hope of affected customers within the interface TCN stations.
