Al-Ittihad's pressures Mohamed Salah with £200 Million Bid as Liverpool reject £150 Million

Al-Ittihad is reportedly prepared to make a substantial offer of £200 million in their pursuit of Mohamed Salah from Liverpool.

This development follows the rejection of a £150 million bid by the Saudi Pro League club by the English side. Al-Ittihad remains persistent in their pursuit of Salah, with their transfer window closing on September 7.

Mail Sport recently reported that despite Jurgen Klopp's strong desire to retain his star forward, the Saudi club views Salah as the cornerstone of their new project and is willing to surpass the £198 million fee that Paris St Germain paid Barcelona for Neymar in 2017.

Negotiations have been ongoing for several months, but they have recently escalated, with the Saudi Pro League representatives relocating to Cannes in the south of France to facilitate discussions.

Liverpool's director, Mike Gordon, rebuffed proposals on Thursday evening and reaffirmed today that the 31-year-old forward is not available for sale, marking the end of the matter.

Mohamed Salah, who scored 30 goals in all competitions for Liverpool last season, holds a prominent role within the club's leadership and inked a new three-year contract last summer, making him the highest-paid player in Liverpool's history.
